The Benefits of Getting Students to participe in Classroom
Think - Pair - Share


The article talk about 10 benefits that result useful for the students and the teachers. I think that all these strategies are interesting to us as future teachers, and i consider that if the teachers are able to make friendly and motivated students in classroom. All of the strategies i read that the teacher has an important role because the teachers have to be an iniciative to do the things. For example: teachers give fedback, students feedback,etc.

Besides, teachers have the chance to control the classroom, motivate students to talk, teachers promote confident to their students to develop skills. I liked that article beacuse we can see the job of the teachers in the classroom, the effort that they do. On the other hand, the other article about think, pair, share talk about how students have to be. 

Think: students have to think, for example in a questions to create or iniciate a conversation.
Pair: When the students have a topic or questions they are free to talk a lot.
Share: after students are finished the conversation in pairs, the teachers as a monitor promote students to share with all the class.

Students are motived when teachers create an interesting conversation before as an example. And they feel more confident to talk with other classmates. Also, other way to make students to participe in class is the cirlce chat in which students talk in front of each other. This kind of stragtegies make students to feel free to share their ideas, opinions, etc. I really like the articles, and i give five stars to them.

Online Collaborative Writing Using Wikis. All the things that I was reading about the topic were interesting. First, because the students have the opportunity to work in wikis. Wikis are a tools that we can edit, create and share information through it. Also, I think that the students can find many things in that wikis to do the homework, and the article present an example of it. Teachers and studetns can participe. In addition, one of the advantages to work in groups in the classroom is the studetns can share their ideas, opinions, and expiences. The students can create a project, choose a topic, and they can start to work in it. The students have the chance to participe sharing the information they found, they have the possibility to communicate after class, and in that way they build the project day per day. Log. Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary.

Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary Online Dictionaries for Learners The article mentioned some ideas that sound interesting, but I think and I agree that reading comprehension and vocabulary have relationship; for example, a students can read a book and they can uderstand it, but some words can be weird or new for them. For that reason, I think that students acquire vocabulary through the readers. In addition, including the technology students find some books online in which they can discover new vocabulary to learn.  Moreover, I liked the first teaching principles because as a future teachers showed us that we can fin many tools online to teach vocabulary and reading too; for that reason, the article showed the computerized reading and the non-computerized reading.  On the other hand, the article about Online dictionaries talked about two different dicitionaries that are general-use and English-Learner dictionary.       COMPUTERS AND LANGUAGE LEARNING. Mark Warchauer and Deborah Healy   mentioned that many years ago the computers were a weird object in education. Some teachers nowadays use a computer because is an important instrument in all the classroom. It is interested because the article is divides in four parts.  On the other hand, the history showed some approaches in which the technology was grown, but in different ways; for example, I think that the communicative CALL is better because is a cognitive theory, and I consider that behaviorist give less opportunities than communicative CALL because the students are involve and they can work with the computers.
