Blending, Integrating , and PODCASTS
Something that Iliked of the article was the prase "Learning to Listen" and "Listening to Learn". In that article mention the important use of podcasts in classroom , and that I culd understand is the Listening skill can be teach it with Podcasts if the teacher wants the students develop their skill to think, analyze, and learn to listen the native speakers clearly. Besides, the Podcasts can be used by the teachers with the same collegues to share knowledge, ideas, and some websites that they can use in the class such as experiences.
On the other hand, I consider that its important to know that the article said about the integrating. Its necessary to know that exist some aspects that influences the integrating cannot be possible in a classroom for the students. For example, the schools do not provided a sufficent time to the teachers teach in classroom, so this problem make students do not work with the Podcasts; Also, I think that some schools in El Salvador and all the world do not have the sufficient tools such as computer or high technology to apply this excellent method. And to finish this point, I think that the government or the people who is responsable of the education have to invest in resources because if he education do not have the necessary things to the teachers could teach, we will not what important Podcasts are in the classroom. I think the Podcasts motivated students to share with others the ideas or their experiences.
Some things that they can do to the students work better is blended the activities. For example, the teacher makes students to do activities like work in pairs, in groups, or individual. I think that every method has a specific skill, and the Podcasts can develop the listening skill in the students. As a future teachers we have to know that this tools is important to apply if we want the students can learn and listen better. I liked that article and I give it five stars.
Hello Vanessa. Your point about the lack of resources in our country is quite interesting and true. Imagine you are working in a public school, teaching English to 7th grade. The school does not have a CD player, yet you want to teach your students listening. You know about podcast. What could you do with your own resources?
ResponderEliminarHi Teacher. I think if i had a CD player, I will use in the class. In the case of the classroom has electric power. Also, if I had a computer or even with my cellphone I think I can teach in the classroom. I think in that teacher.
