COMPUTERS AND LANGUAGE LEARNING.
Mark
Warchauer and Deborah Healy mentioned that many years ago the
computers were a weird object in education. Some teachers nowadays use a
computer because is an important instrument in all the classroom. It is
interested because the article is divides in four parts.
On the other hand, the
history showed some approaches in which the technology was grown, but in
different ways; for example, I think that the communicative CALL is better
because is a cognitive theory, and I consider that behaviorist give less
opportunities than communicative CALL because the students are involve and they
can work with the computers. Besides, the communicative CALL allows students to
learn through a class in which the content-based, project based, and
task-based; Also, teachers can develop a class with that kind of method.
Other thing that I consider
help teachers is that some software provided programs in which we have the
opportunity to learn about different topics. The computers and the internet
make students can access to different kind of pages in the web that have more
information. Also, teachers can find more information easily to teach. In
addition, the internet is a way in which students or people in general can
share opinions with different people around the world, and get more knowledge.

I agree with you because the technology has a lot of benefits for students in a language classroom. The use of this tool has become easier the access of new methods for teach and learn a new language. Also, students are able to communicate with native speakers and they are able to find many exercise that can help in the development of their education. On the other hand, Mark Warchauer and Deborah Healy mentioned that the computers have been used since some years ago. This mean that the use of computers have increase every day with huge range of apps and that the technology is a tool very essential in the moment to learn a new languages.
